Joseph Badalamenti (Joe Bada)

Chairman Emeritus

Joe Bada got his start in the default management industry in 1967 as a HUD contractor. Now, 54 years and over 5 million inspections later, Bada has built Five Brothers into a highly successful and respected industry leader.

Through hard work and experience, Bada has grown Five Brothers a privately-owned company into a large national firm offering a full range of field service solutions, including property preservation, inspections, REO management and property valuation. Bada’s strong belief in client-centered partnering has spawned a nationwide network of highly effective customer and field service representatives. Advanced technology solutions created under Bada’s leadership include a complete document management and processing system (MARS™) and state-of-the-art loss mitigation software (MOTZ™), which allows quick and efficient loan modifications according to FDIC and HAMP guidelines.

Joe Bada has been relentless in his pursuit of client-specific business solutions; an approach that he believes remains the most important advantage Five Brothers brings to its clients.

Nickalene Badalamenti-Kalas

President and CEO

Nickie leads Five Brothers growing work force in delivering an exceptional customer experience, by constantly monitoring changing market conditions and the regulatory landscape to proactively deliver solutions its client need.

Prior to joining Five Brothers full time as Chief Executive Officer, now President, Nickie had served on the executive management team at Five Brothers. Nickie attended Oakland University for her undergraduate studies, and received her doctorate degree from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry prior to starting, developing and running a highly successful dental practice in Michigan for 25 years.

Angela Miller

Chief Client Relation Officer, CCRO

Angela oversees all aspects of client relations. Her main focus is to proactively engage Five Brothers client’s on an individualized basis to deepen relationships that align with Five Brothers core competencies. Angela provides high-level client service to each individual or organization, with a focus on engagement and outcomes. It includes working with her team to respond to client inquiries; maintaining database information and monitoring for opportunities to further engage with Five Brothers client’s in identified services.

Angela’s experience spans more than twenty-five years of serving Five Brothers and its customer base. She applies those experiences and insights to deliver a truly memorable customer experience for each and every Five Brothers client.

Perry Scroggie

Chief Financial Officer

Perry Scroggie is an accomplished finance executive with 30 years of accounting, finance, and management experience.   Perry previously held the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer with a private technology services company. He also worked as the Vice President of Accounting and Finance for Luminant Worldwide Corp., a publicly traded systems integration and web development firm. Perry served at the Chief Financial Officer and was a founding member of Align Solutions Corporation, which was selected by The Houston Business Journal as the fastest growing company in Houston, Texas. As a Director with Huron Consulting Group and related firms, Perry served a number of companies in financial consulting roles as an interim financial executive, project manager and financial advisor. Consulting clients have included General Motors, Navistar, Blue Water Automotive, and Inventive Health. Consulting projects included assisting companies in transition through Chapter 11 bankruptcy, leading an initiative to centralize a company’s accounting functions, and project managing the restatement of a client’s financial statements. Perry has extensive experience in operating and growing early stage and mid-market companies and working with organizations in transition.

Perry is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.

William Walsworth

Chief Information Officer

In 1995, William Walsworth joined Five Brothers as Chief Information Officer, developing all of the Five Brothers technology solutions, including MOTZ,™ MARS™ and FiveOnline.™ Walsworth provides Five Brothers’ clients with efficient and effective solutions for loss mitigation, asset preservation, and loan modification, as well as document management, scanning, archival and retrieval. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Prior to joining Five Brothers, Walsworth served as a senior systems analyst at Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation in New York before becoming President of GNU Software Development in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

LeAnne Richards

Senior Director, Client Relations

LeAnne oversees Five Brothers client’s communication programs. As Senior Director of Client Relations, she is charged with advancing the company’s client customer service department as expressed in its partnership-driven business model. On the client relations communication level, her responsibilities encompass business corporate compliance, invoicing, pricing and escalated responses.

Prior to joining Five Brothers, LeAnne  served as client relations liaison for a leading provider of lender-placed insurance, where she managed all aspects of company client communications activities. Earlier, she had held a similar position at BetterInvesting, a member organization providing information, education and support to investors nationwide.

April Smith

Senior Director, Preservation Services

April Smith serves as the Senior Director of Preservation Services for Five Brothers.  She has been instrumental in aligning operations to become more complaint with our client and industry requirements, improved reconveyance rates and conveyance compliance.   She provides operational and compliance leadership and development, strategic solutions and risk mitigation.

April has 20+ years of industry operational and compliance experience.  Throughout her career, she has received multiple service and accomplishment awards.

Before joining the Five Brothers team, she worked at US Bank, N.A in various roles.  Her most recent being Vice President of Inspection and Preservation, prior to that she served as Assistant Vice President of Real Estate Owned as well as other roles in the Loss mitigation, Insurance and Bankruptcy departments.

Mira Johnson

Director, Vendor Relations

Since 2015, Mira has been integral to the development and implementation of Vendor Support functions.  As the Senior Director of Vendor Relations, Mira has promoted a culture of strategic client and realtor transparency for pre-emptive communication and collaboration.  Data driven analytics have allowed her to expand our independent contractor/inspector footprint throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and Guam.

Prior to her years at Five Brothers, Mira served as Quality Control/Document Coordinator, facilitating internal communication on behalf of Oil and Gas clients such as Shell, Exxon Mobile and Sunoco and held a managerial role within a legal organization in Saline, MI.

Mira attended McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Susan VanDamme

Director, Inspections and Specialty Services

A seventeen- year industry veteran, Susan expertly provides management oversight to many of the specialty services offered by Five Brothers.

Currently Susan operates as the Divisional Director, where she acts to provide vision, direction, and executive support to all aspects of Inspections, Valuation Services, Utilities Management, Property Registration Services, Seasonal Maintenance, Loss Draft Inspections, Hazard Claim Repairs, Municipal Code Compliance and Data Routing.

Having previously worked with Operations and Senior Management, Susan is adept at end-to-end asset management, which benefits her in this current position, and has provided a foundation to work hand in hand with Five Brothers’ technological engineers.  Sue continues to provide operational and technical process observations to support the development of overall strategic enhancements to proprietary software, keeping pace with economic and industry challenges.

Prior to joining Five Brothers, Susan held management roles within a legal firm and a manufacturing enterprise.

Sundari Kamath

Director, Photo QC

Sundari Kamath joined Five Brothers in 2009 to oversee Photo Quality Control operations.  In addition, she applies her expertise to operational analysis of business processes to maximize efficiency and improve overall quality control.  Prior to immigrating to the United States, Sundari worked within the field of print, quality, control, and management for over twenty years, providing clients with print quality solutions.

Sundari served as a member of the Board of Directors within Print and Publishing for eight years.

Sundari holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mangalore University and an MBA in International Business from Walsh College, Michigan.

Kelly Susick

Director, Preservation Review

Kelly Susick provides executive oversight to bid quality control, insurer/investor bid submission and work order creation.

As Director of the Preservation Review Division, Kelly plays a critical role in bid tracking, decision analytics, and collaboration of technological initiatives for process and procedure enhancements. On a mission to increase Investor/Insurer first pass approvals, she is focused on enhancing bid quality for improved turn times.  Kelly has implemented Quality Control Processes that have resulted in a 99% success rate in property disposition via the conveyance process.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Walsh College and has been a team member with Five Brothers since 2011.
