FEMA Major Disaster Declaration – South Dakota Flooding

FEMA announced that federal disaster assistance has been made available for the state of South Dakota to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by flooding that occurred from April 9 to May 5, 2023. The following areas has been approved for assistance:

Public Assistance:

  • Brown County
  • Clark County
  • Codington County
  • Day County
  • Faulk County
  • Grant County
  • Hand County
  • Lake Traverse (Sisseton) Indian Reservation
  • Marshall County
  • Potter County
  • Roberts County
