FEMA announced today that federal disaster assistance has been made available to the state of Mississippi to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms, straight-line winds and tornadoes from June 14-19, 2023. The following areas has been approved for assistance:

Public Assistance:

  • Jackson County

  • Jefferson Davis County
  • Lawrence County
