FEMA Major Disaster Declaration – Alaska Flooding

FEMA announced that federal disaster assistance has been made available to the state of Alaska to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by flooding from May 12 to June 3, 2023. The following areas has been approved for assistance:

 

Individual Assistance:

  • Copper River Regional Educational Attendance Area
  • Kuspuk Regional Educational Attendance Area
  • Lower Kuskokwim Regional Educational Attendance Area
  • Lower Yukon Regional Educational Attendance Area
  • Yukon Flats Regional Educational Attendance Area

 

Public Assistance:

  • Bering Strait Regional Educational Attendance Area
  • Copper River Regional Educational Attendance Area
  • Kuspuk Regional Educational Attendance Area
  • Lower Yukon Regional Educational Attendance Area
  • Yukon Flats Regional Educational Attendance Area
