FEMA announced today that federal disaster assistance has been made available to the state of Maine to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms and flooding from Dec. 17-21, 2023. The following areas has been approved for assistance:

 

Individual Assistance:

  • Androscoggin County
  • Franklin County
  • Kennebec County
  • Oxford County
  • Somerset County

 

Public Assistance:

  • Androscoggin County
  • Franklin County
  • Hancock County
  • Oxford County
  • Penobscot County
  • Piscataquis County
  • Somerset County
  • Waldo County
  • Washington County
